Quality Coordinator

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Role models and trains Program Leaders/Managers and Direct Support Staff in all areas of Person Centered Planning, both in philosophy and specific implementation.
Closely mentors and supports Home Managers in effective leadership skill building.
Using a collaborative teamwork model, participates in planning for the future as part of the leadership team.
Collaboratively with peers, develops simple, efficient and effective procedures to assist the organization and its staff in completing all its required and necessary function.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and actively participates in their implementation.
Applies principles of CQI to all services and processes.
Supports culturally competent recovery-based practices and person centered planning as a shared decision making process.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum of three (3) years of previous supervisory experience in residential programs or comparable management experience.
2.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
3.
High School Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree preferred in a Human Service Field.
4.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with consumers, staff and all other stakeholders.
5.
Knowledge of and experience in Continuous Quality Improvement theory and techniques.
6.
Completion of the personnel hiring requirements specified in the Conditional Job Offer at the time of hire.
7.
Three references deemed acceptable to Spectrum.
8.
Life experiences with diverse racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including experience with behavioral health issues, is preferred.
9.
Must support a trauma informed culture of safety to aid consumers in their recovery process.
JOB PERFORMANCE
Responsibilities:
A.
Individual Support1.
Demonstrates and teaches Person Centered Planning philosophy and practices.
2.
Participates in and follows up on each Person Centered Plan and updates, ensuring the success of the plan.
When revisions are needed, gathers information and makes recommendations to individual and Supports Coordinator.
3.
Provide support and guidance when individuals present challenges to the staff and home.
4.
Develops natural supports for consumers.
Creates connections in the community, opening avenues for community inclusion of individuals.
5.
Ensures that individuals receive all assistance for which they are eligible (i.
e.
, food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, Home Health, SSI, etc.
).
B.
Teamwork/Leadership1.
Provides direction, training and tools for Program Leaders/Managers.
Works side-by-side with Program Leaders/Managers until they are fully trained and competent in responsibilities.
2.
Consistently role models philosophy of supportive, outcome driven supervision and leadership.
3.
As part of the leadership team, plans for stability and growth of organization.
4.
Provides training, individual and group, in areas including Person Centered Plan, teamwork, problem solving and task-specific training.
5.
Leads and/or participates in Person Centered Planning meetings, Quarterly Review meetings, staff meetings.
6.
Provides necessary support to Direct Support Staff along with or in the absence of the Program Leader/ Manager.
C.
Operations/Administrative1.
Develops practices and systems that support the smooth operation of the programs and the organization.
Ensures everyone knows and uses these for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
2.
Responsible for program operating within budget.
Monitor program's revenues and expenses.
Take action to remedy if program is not operating within budget.
3.
Ensures that programs meet all agency, regulatory and contractual requirements.
Teach these to Program Leader/ Managers and Direct Support Staff, ensuring they know and follow them.
D.
Quality Improvement1.
Teaches principles of CQI to Direct Support Staff and Program Leaders/Managers, informally by example and formally.
2.
Takes lead role in developing and implementing the organizations' CQI Plan.
3.
Collects and monitors data, tracking progress of individuals and of outcome goals.
Takes steps to make improvements if outcomes are not in acceptable ranges.
4.
Creates reports on progress towards outcomes, including plans to improve as necessary.
Shares these reports with all interested parties.
5.
All other duties as assigned by Administration.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
